Who We Are

We are a small Mom & Pop Certified Rural Health Clinic operating under the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Rural Health Clinic (CMS-RHC) program, which means that our little clinic meets strict State and Federal regulations that most other larger clinics do not!  

Our clinic opened it’s doors on January 21st 2003 and remains the only family-general practice in the town of Magalia caring for all ages (infants through the elderly).

We are pleased to provide you our services via our Certified Rural Health Clinic designation! 

On-Call after hours doorbell now off-line (Protest EDD)!!!

In protest of the California EDD rewarding employees discharged for violating federal OSHA and HIPAA laws and most recently deleting entire Electronic Billing/Medical Records System and all separate USB backup data, but then rewarding these employees with tax payer's unemployment money, we will no longer save the State of California money by being on-call after hours and on weekends.  Patients are to go to the Emergency Room at taxpayers cost of well over a $1000.00 per patient verse well under $100 for clinic office call.  Our estimate is this may increase tax cost by $900.000.00 annually.  We encourage other employers to protest EDD similarly, especially doctors when employees violate patients.  The public should know that when an employee violates them and lies to EDD that they will likely be rewarded with unemployment money! 

 TBA = To Be Arranged: during summers we sometimes close on Fridays to enjoy time with our children, but we are often available via our on-call call-bell.  During winter or school months we are mostly open Fridays.  If a holiday is on Thursday we may closed the following Friday, but you may still use the call bell.  Outgoing message machine indicates days closed.

 Call Bell = for those not severe enough for the emergency room (ER), but which can save hours avoiding the ER and save tax dollars as the ER is over ten times more expensive than an office call. Avoiding the expensive Emergency Room helps our economy.  The call-bell is a special door-bell at clinic front door, which is a pager system with a two mile radius and if we don't respond within 2-5 minutes we are unavailable (we are usually on site).
